Grieving

Today is a sad day here. I have had to put my dog down.

He was a very good dog, friendly, loyal, and playful, and I grieve. He deserved better.

He was a purebred, and they have a tendency to have health problems. He bottomed out on that, and had Cocker eye, Cocker ear, and Cocker skin. He was robust and healthy on the inside. He was playful, energetic, and loving.

My fiancee and I cried for a couple of hours last night because of this. He really did deserve better, but all he had was me. I tried to be good to him, but I can only do so much.
